“Nokishita koubou Shokunin-juku” is the place where you can learn deeply from skilled craftsman the process of making Echizen lacquerware.
We will carry out a tour where you can see how this student is taught by craftsmen.

The experience

・ You can see each process of making of lacquerware such as making base, painting, and Makie (gold or silver lacquer) up close.
・ You can visit the workshop where you cannot usually get in easily and experience its atmosphere.
・ You can get to know the depth of the world of traditional crafts and the worthwhile of work by talking with craftsmen.
